i need to think about silver more he's got all kinds of potential and characterization that can be taken to so many different directions. he was 14 and his world was in ruins, with only him and his best and only friend standing against the fire that ravaged everything he knew. he hones his abilities for battle, to destroy anyone that stood in his way, to forge his way through anything and everything to protect the little he had left. he was caught off guard when he first saw a clear blue sky and the life that flourished under it, only for his surroundings to fuel his resolve further, to take his life in his own hands. he held on to the one strand of hope he was given with the ravenous hunger of a wild animal, and even when he came to understand the lies he was told that resolve never faded, only changed its target. silver was a fighter in every sense of the word, a beaming ray of hope that has the capacity to protect and destroy, held back by the child he was and still is

how much of it remains now that the timeline was changed, and solaris is no more? the memory doesn't remain, but something has to have been left behind, whether its the strange kinship he experiences with a girl from another world so far removed from his, or the inherent strength that remains in his psychokinesis, reacting so strongly to the presence of a chaos emerald. is it better for him to not remember the hell he lived through and endured, the loss of his best friend who now stands by him, similar yet so different to what she used to be? would the knowledge bring nothing but hurt, or fuel his desire to be a protector of the future? where does that desire come from, anyway, is it something he feels he has to do without being able to explain why? has he ever thought about it any more than that? why does the sight of a clear sky fill him with so many feelings he can't put into words, when it's nothing but the sky?

when i was younger i found myself in a lot of music spaces that had a lot of people being like “what happened to rock music! where are the guitars? where are the drums! music has gone so downhill” which is something i don’t see as much now but i also escaped from most of those spaces by this point

anyway i was listening to the dubstep, electropop club remix thing of escape from the city in sonic generations and i gotta say all i could think was “wow this version is so much better than the original, i’m so glad they got rid of the guitar and drums and made it synthy and poppy instead” which lmao

I grew up playing sonic games and although I don’t play much anymore I’m still a fan of the art and music. As for art I made gijiinkas I draw pretty often in my free time, but never good enough to post haha
